When your child is sick, you want to get her the best possible care. That’s especially true for serious conditions like congenital heart defects (CHD).

Most people have heard about the hospital rankings published in US News & World Report every year. Children’s was ranked as one of the nation’s best pediatric hospitals in three categories, including cardiology and heart surgery.

But we also know that you might not understand exactly what these rankings mean.
