Exercise 101: How Kids with Heart Conditions Can Keep Their Hearts Healthy

Some parents of heart transplant kids may worry about their child’s safety and wellbeing if he plays sports or gets too physical.

But the opposite is just as worrisome: what if your child doesn’t stay active enough? That can be just as bad for his health, both physically and mentally.

That’s why everybody should follow a heart healthy lifestyle—and that includes exercise.
