Memories from summer camp can last a lifetime. Just because a child has a heart condition doesn’t mean he has to miss out on these experiences. 

In fact, some camps are designed especially for kids with chronic health issues. In Nebraska, we have Camp Brave Heart—a weeklong camp just for heart kids, staffed by a cardiology team to make sure campers can take part in those classic summer rites of passage.
